All Positions - Comida - Stanley Marketplace

Comida means food, and our roots are street food, honest and real. What started humbly as a food truck in 2010 has moved off the street to a full service restaurant, where everything continues to be hand made, with care, using the best ingredients we can source. Our newest, and busiest location inside of the Stanley Marketplace is currently looking to hire a variety of positions to join our amazing team!

Full-Time and part-time available, depending on the position. Must be available on weekends and evenings, as needed. Descriptions for each position available can be found below. Se habla español.

PLEASE USE FOLLOWING LINK TO APPLY:
    http://jobs.schedulefly.com/post-4193.aspx

    LINE COOK:
As one can imagine, a restaurant called "Comida" relies heavily on skilled cooks. Perfect for someone looking to improve or start off their culinary career.
A line cook sets up and closes down the kitchen, strictly adheres to health department regulations, completes a variety of cleaning tasks, prepares food to the chef's exact specifications, can work cooperatively with a group of people, can ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion. Ability to work under pressure is a must.

FRONT OF HOUSE SUPPORT (Bussers, Food Runners, Hosts):
Bussers keep the dining room running and without them, restaurants could not function. It is the responsibility of the bussers to clean tables, make sure the server stations are stocked, and support the servers and bartenders in a variety of ways.

Food runners perform quality control by matching dishes with tickets and making sure that plates are neat and presentable for the guests. They deliver food to tables, and educate guests about their selections. Must manage the flow of tickets being sent to the kitchen to keep ticket times to a minimum.

Hosts are the first and last people that guests see, so upbeat, professional, friendly, and accommodating attitudes are an absolute must. Lead hosts are responsible for not only taking reservations, setting up tables, and managing the flow of guests, but also must have the ability to work well with others.

Front of House restaurant experience preferred. Due to the high volume of our restaurant, the abilities to multi-task and work under pressure are a must.

    BARTENDERS:

Last, but certainly not least, we are looking for some kick ass bartenders who have passion for service and are ready to sling tacos and drinks to our guests. We feature an incredible cocktail program, and provide several benefits to all of our employees which includes a monthly tequila training!

Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of bartender experience
