What’s the Masonry Apprenticeship Program all about?
•  This is an in-depth, competency-based training program,
consisting of 450 hours of class & hands-on workshops and
approximately 6,000 hours of on-the-job training over a three-year
period.
•  This program is managed for RMMI by the construction
education professionals at the Construction Industry Training
Council (CITC), under the auspices of the RMMI Masonry Trade
Council.
•  Apprentices spend roughly half of their time in the classroom,
the other half in the masonry lab.
•  Apprentices who successfully complete the entire program will
become recognized journeymen in Colorado and most other U.S.
states.
•  The curriculum has been developed by the Mason Contractors
Association of America, and is in use in over three dozen masonry
training programs throughout the country.  Classes are offered in
English. Spanish may be available if at least 15 students register as
Spanish speakers.
•  The program is approved by the Colorado Department of Labor
and the Office of Apprenticeship Training.  After completing a
brief interview with the Office of Apprenticeship Training, your
apprentices will be eligible to work on government projects.

•  As the sponsoring educational institution for our program

two semesters per year (with a long break during the
busy summer months), and it takes six semesters for an
apprentice to complete the program. CITC is centrally located
at 646 Mariposa St in Denver.
