Aquatic Aide - Southwest

Branch/Location:  Southwest YMCA
Hours/Day Schedule:
Pay Range:  $7.78 to $8.00 per hour depending on experience
Specific Requirements: .  Deliver professional customer service and relationship building skills to create a welcoming environment at the YMCA.  This individual will assist the Lifeguards and Swim Instructors in providing a safe, clean and fun facility for all ages. The incumbent will also exhibit the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in all aspects of their work with the YMCA.

Entry Requirements/Qualifications:

1.         14 years or older
2.         CPR-PR/AED/O2 and Standard First Aid or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
3.         Must have YASA certification if assisting with swim lessons.
4.         Swimming ability at the Flying Fish level or higher.
5.         Desire to work with people and to become trained in the field of Aquatics
