Guiry's, a local retailer of paint, decorating and fine art supplies is seeking a cashier/receptionist at our Centennial location.
Family owned and operated since 1899, Guiry's has been one of Denver's premier decorating retailers with a longstanding reputation for providing quality products and excellence in customer service.
Our cashiers exude a friendly and helpful image and play an important role in facilitating a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities of the Cashier include:
• Greet and assist customers
• Handle credit, check and cash transactions.
• Answer basic questions and direct customers to appropriate departments
• Assist with checking in merchandise
• Put away new merchandise -- rotate, straighten and rearrange as needed.
• Maintain department cleanliness
• Assist designers and other store staff as needed
• Position requires working at least one weekend day per week
Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong customer service skills and a willingness to work in a team atmosphere: Other strengths include:
• Positive attitude/optimistic
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Computer skills required
• Experience working with color and paint is preferred.
Compensation:
Compensation is hourly and variable based on experience. This full time position is eligible for health, dental and vision insurance as well as paid holidays, personal days and PTO after 90 days of employment. Additionally, all full time employees are eligible to participate in an optional Flexible Spending account, optional 401k and optional supplemental insurance programs.
