After-school Art Studio for youth 11-21. September 6, 2016- May 25, 2017
Please encourage young artists
to join our after-school studio. An inclusive and diverse community, our Young
Artists come from throughout the metro area to explore contemporary art in the
Art District on Santa Fe. In the Studio at the CVA, Young Artists begin to
recognize the role of contemporary art in global dialog and develop the
capacity to become creative leaders in our communities. The youngest artists
gain exposure to a variety of techniques and methods while our senior artists
develop a portfolio.
I would be thrilled to speak
with your community about this program. Please be in touch if you would like
posters or postcards to share or if you would like me to come in to speak with
a group of parents, colleagues or young artists.
