The Denver Area Labor Federation will provide a comprehensive overview of construction trade apprenticeships and unions. Apprenticeships are low-cost career training opportunities where you earn while you learn. With all of the development in the Denver metro area, building and construction trades are in demand. Center for Workforce Initiatives is located in the Bear Creek Building (formerly Children’s College) adjacent to West Colfax from the 9th Street park campus entrance (metered parking available here). Heading West on Colfax, turn right onto 9th Street. At the stop sign, you will see Bear Creek to your left at the top of a small roundabout. Metered parking is available to your right on 9th, Street. The closest Light Rail Station is Colfax at Auraria. Head west toward 9th Street and turn right on 9th St and then turn left at the stop sign. Bear Creek is at the top of the small roundabout.
