Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Program 

The Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Program is a nine-week certification program designed to certify candidates with the skills necessary to build electronics hardware and develop an exciting career in space operations.

Participants are paid and offered benefits during the nine week training program. Candidates who successfully complete the program may be offered full-time employment at Lockheed Martin.

No Experience Necessary

The curriculum includes solder certification, cable harnessing and conformal coating training.
Training takes place on the Waterton Campus.

1. What’s the pay for these positions?
The pay is $12.50/hour during the apprenticeship training, then $17.20/hour upon hire. Pay is for hours worked; you will not be paid for Holidays. Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits are offered during both the training program and if offered a position after graduation.

2. If I can’t attend the 11/15/2018 Info Session, can I still apply for the apprenticeship opportunity?

4. When does the apprenticeship program begin?
The program will begin January 2019 with the possibility of hire after successful completion of the 9-week-long training period.

5. What are the hours?
The apprenticeship program will be from 6:30am – 4pm Monday-Friday on a 9/80 schedule (meaning you will have every other Friday off). If you are offered a full time position at the completion of the program, you will likely be given different shifts after that.

6. Where is Lockheed Martin located?
These positions will be located at the Lockheed Martin Waterton Canyon Campus located in SW Littleton.

7. Are the positions full time?
Yes, both the apprenticeship portion and the final positions are full time.

8. Who are you looking for? Successful Candidates:
• Must be US Citizens or permanent resident - facility requires special access
• Must be able to pass a background investigation & a drug-screen
• Must have reliable transportation
• Have good hand-eye coordination
• Have fine motor skills - dexterity
• Have a desire & willingness to learn (experience is NOT required)
• Have strong integrity & ability to work well in team environment
