FOOD SERVICE SUBSTITUTE

Sheridan School District is actively seeking Food Service Substitutes.  All interested and qualified applicants must complete an online application.  Incomplete applications and resumes received in lieu of applications will not be considered.  Selected applicants will be contacted for an interview. 

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting with food preparation and serving food; assists with cleaning. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Training or Formal Education
High school graduate

Minimum Experience
Up to one year of previous experience in a related field.

Skill Requirements
·         Computer
·         Some knowledge of commercial cooking and baking
·         Commercial cooking equipment
·         Basic math
·         Effective communication

Salary
Hourly rate is $10.81 an hour based upon step 1 of Food Service Personnel Salary Schedule. 

FLSA Status
This position is Non-Exempt, classified and is an at-will position with the Sheridan School District.
