Games/Dog Park/Playground Host - Skyline Park - Denver

Job Description: 
Host will be customer service focused and concierge oriented. The Skyline Park Host will continually strive to provide a secure, friendly and welcoming park environment for the residents, visitors, and employees in the surrounding businesses. This position will also oversee many events and vendor related activities in this public space and will perform general maintenance tasks as needed. 

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Set up activities upon arrival of the work shift and oversee activities as they take place. Return the space to normal operating condition at the conclusion of the day, which incudes but is not limited to locking up the activities before departure.
• Responds in a professional and courteous manner to customer as they arrive at the park and upon departure, and engages with them as they are taking part in the activities offered.
• Responsible for tracking which games are played by the customers that visit the park. 
• Perform regular maintenance and clean up for the space during the work shift such as cleaning off tables, organizing park furniture, and more. 
• Communicate with the Skyline Park Games Manager as needed.
• Create a publicly activated space that will help be visible deterrent for crime and disruptive activities.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with the Downtown Denver Partnership. 

Qualification and Preferred Skills:
• The Host must have strong customer service skills. Excellent verbal communication skills are a must. 
• The Host must also present themselves in a professional manner at all times including appearance, attitude and ability to carry out the above mentioned items as well as any additional tasks that may be required to meet the needs of the client. 
• Host must be able to be on their feet and able to work outside for a long period of time.
