College Goal Sunday is being held earlier this year as the
17-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opened on October 1st.
College Goal Sunday is a FREE event for students (and their families) to get
free help filling out the FAFSA. It is the first step and a federal requirement
for students who plan to pay for college with the help of Federal Student Aid
like grants, federal student loans and work study.
There are about 20 sites state-wide hosting the event,
including the FRCC Larimer Campus in Fort Collins and Boulder County Campus in
Longmont. Additionally, students who attend an FRCC site can be entered to win
a $1,000 scholarship for Front Range Community College if they complete their
17-18 FAFSA that day!! College Goal Sunday is a great opportunity for student
and their families to get a jump start on the financial aid application
