Due to the enormous demand and growth from our employers in the Retail Industry; DenverWorks sat down with several major retailers in the Denver Metro Area and created a three day Retail Training Curriculum that concentrates on:

Day One (4 hours): Emphasis on Soft/Life Skills -Attitude, Career Paths in Retail, Customer/CoWorker Conflict Resolution, Barriers to Employment, Elevator Speech, Resume Preparation, Time Management, How to Navigate Job Market and Ace the Interview, etc.

Day 2 (6 hours): Emphasis on Hard Skills - Merchadising, Suggestive Selling, Cash Control, Extensive Customer Service, Shop in our Professional Clothing Closet and Role Play, etc

Day 3 (4 hours): Mock Interviews, Graduation and immediate interview and placement.

1) Must be 18 years old

2) Attend or have attended Career Preparation Workshop 

3) Attend Orientation/Sign Up

4) Must be a Denver Resident, provide two forms of documentation: State ID, Social Security Card, Passport or Birth Certificate

5) Attend All 14 hours of Retail Training Program 

Upon graduation DenverWorks has various Retailers who want to hire you on the spot, that's right ON THE SPOT....entry level starts at $12 to $19 and above with experience. We have over 4,000 Part And Full Time Positions to fill.
