Mile High Youth Corps - Now Hiring Energy and Water Corpsmembers

**QUALIFIED DRIVERS NEEDED!!** (Valid license for at least one year with a clean driving record)

Are you between the ages of 18-24? Are you looking for a way to earn money? If so, come contribute to important Energy and Water Conservation efforts in the Denver Metro Area. MHYC is looking for hard working, self-motivated youth that care about their community. We are presently hiring energetic individuals to be Energy & Water Corpsmembers for our 2017 season, beginning January 23, 2017. Position Overview
Energy and Water Conservation Corpsmembers participate in an intensive year-long program that offers leadership development and an opportunity to serve your community with a diverse crew. Corpsmembers make a difference serving their community installing energy and water saving measures in low-income homes, including high-efficiency toilets (HETs) and LED light bulbs. They build critical professional skills, grow as leaders, gain access and opportunities in the community, and have fun along the way. MHYC also supports Corpsmembers as they explore their future goals and strive towards their next steps.

Requirements:
-Must be 18-24 years of age
-Must have a G.E.D. or H.S. Diploma
-Must be available to work full time M-F for the full term

Highlights:
-Earn $720 bi-weekly stipend
-Earn an AmeriCorps Education Award to pay for school or education loans
-Participated in environmental education, civic engagement, leadership development and career development activities
-Work in a team based environment
