Volunteer Opportunities
at Denver Botanic Gardens

Teens who are looking for a fun and engaging opportunity to volunteer outdoors this summer
need not look any further. Teens can educate visitors through different roles in Mordecai
Children’s Garden or help with summer camps.


Information
• Open to teens ages 13-17
• Apply for either Junior Counselor or Children’s Garden
Volunteer position (can apply for both)
• Programs run from June through mid-August
• Teens work with staff to create their own schedule

How to get involved
• Attend the Teen Volunteer Information Session on Saturday, March 12 from 1-2:30 p.m. (Teen and parent must attend.)
• Complete and submit online application and a letter of recommendation by Sunday, April 10. Interviews will be scheduled with applicants who submit required materials.
