The Community College of Aurora introduces the Diesel
Apprenticeship Program. This program is sponsored by the Colorado Equipment
Dealers Association.
Students in the program may qualify for a Dealer
Sponsorship. A student may receive a paid internship, tuition reimbursement
and potential full-time employment after completion of an A.A.S Degree.
Come meet the faculty, tour the facility, and sign up for an
interview. During the open house an initial aptitude test will be given. Staff
will be available to discuss the steps to apply.

AURORA
AND THEIR INDUSTRY PARTNERS
Are you hard working and reliable with a passion for mechanics?
The Community College of Aurora is partnering with the Colorado Equipment
Dealer’s Association to offer a Diesel Apprenticeship Program.
Earn your Associates Degree in Diesel Power in just under a
year while gaining real world work experience and a paid internship.
Upon successful completion of the program the sponsoring dealer’s
intent is to offer full-time employment and tuition reimbursement for
out-of-pocket expenses. Get started today
for a better future as a Diesel Technician with the Diesel Apprenticeship
Program at the Community College of Aurora.
STEPS TO APPLY:
1. Complete online diesel power mechanics interest form www.ccaurora.edu/diesel
2. Attend Diesel Open House in September and complete aptitude
testing
3. If selected: Students will complete the college admissions
test, course placement test and Financial
Aid application
4. Interview with equipment dealers
