Welcome to the Ready To Work Academy!!

The Rocky Mountain Education Center at Red Rocks Community College is proud to offer a brand new program for the Infrastructure Technician!
  
What is an Infrastructure Tech??  
They are employees who are in high demand and:
·           Are critical to the labor force that a variety of industries depend on!
·           Keep everything and everyone operational!
·           Are multi-skilled problem solvers!

Infrastructure = services and facilities necessary for our economy to function

Technicians =specialist trained in the skills and techniques related to the field they serve and solve technical problems

Upon completion participants have the opportunity to earn:
·        *10 HR General Industry Card  - DOL/OSHA Outreach Safety Training
·        *EPA Section 608 Card - To work on stationary air conditioners and refrigeration systems, you must be certified under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act.
·        *Learn proper use and understanding of tools necessary to be successful in this technical field.
·         *Paid 90 day internship
