Mile High Youth Corps - Energy & Water Program - Denver

Mile High Youth Corps is currently hiring Corpsmembers for Energy and Water program! 
Corpsmembers have the opportunity to work on land, energy and water conservation projects throughout the Denver Metro area. Gain job and technical skills while serving your community! Corpsmembers will receive a living stipend and an AmeriCorps education award to be used towards college.
Youth must have a GED or high school diploma and be 18-24 years old.

Hours and Stipend:
This is a temporary position, January 26, 2015 – June 26, 2015, with the potential for an extension of service for a year or longer, given strong performance.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Corpsmembers may be required to serve occasional Friday afternoons from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Schedule may vary depending on projects.
Corpsmembers earn a stipend of $576.00 bi-weekly.
Benefits are not provided.
AmeriCorps Education Award: A Corpsmember is eligible for a $2,150.00 AmeriCorps Education Award upon successful completion of 675 hours of service.
