Summer Volunteer Opportunities with The Children's Museum

Be a Summer Playologist at the Children’s Museum

Join our team as a Summer Teen Playologist and have fun while building your resume or college application! Volunteers facilitate play, engage with guests, answer questions about the Museum and keep exhibit spaces organized and inviting. Playologists also play an important role in enforcing the safety and security guidelines of exhibit features and support our staff in the lobby, Gift Shop and Café.


Available Shifts
• Weekdays: 9 am - 1 pm & 12:30 - 4:30 pm
• Weekends: 10 am – 2 pm & 1:30 - 5:30 pm

Requirements
• Must be at least 13 years of age
• Be on time, dependable and have excellent customer service skills
• Enjoy engaging with the public of all ages and cultural backgrounds
• Love to play and have fun!

Process
Open interviews are June 6 from 4 - 6:30 pm and June 9 from 10 am – 12 pm. Please bring
one reference letter from a teacher to your interview. Volunteers must attend a mandatory orientation Sunday, June 10 from 2 - 5 pm.
