Technology Enabled Girl Ambassadors - Adams County Females ages 18-20

Part Time Employment Opportunity for Youth (Girls) Ages 18-19
Technology Enabled Girl Ambassador (TEGA)

The Youth Initiative of Adams County (ACYI) is seeking 12 Technology Empowered Girl
Ambassadors (TEGAs) to participate in the pilot phase of a project designed to
empower girls to collect authentic data about the experiences of their peers and others
in the community. The information they gather will be used to help inform work our
Partners are doing to improve educational outcomes for young people in the area.

The TEGA Program is an exciting new project where you’ll learn to be a digital
interviewer. You will gain an interviewer qualification, and speak to members of the
community to learn more about them and their lives using specially designed mobile
app. You will need to be able to read and write in English and have a passion for
learning about the world around you.

You don’t need to have any previous work experience or qualifications, we are simply
looking for girls ages 18 and 19 who live in Adams county who demonstrate that they
are willing to be:
Curious
Courageous
Kind & Understanding
A Good Listener
Non-judgemental
Patient
Reflective

These skills are called our TEGA Sparks - and are what we look for most in TEGAs.
