IDEALAB
Youth on Record 2018

IdeaLab is an
ongoing event series supporting artists and creative community to connect to
each other and around critical issues. On June 13,
we hope to bring creative youth together to support their creative development,
cultivate new connections and highlight youth creative leadership.
Hosted at Youth on Record, the event will feature an opening panel
and discussion amongst artists and youth leaders, discipline-specific breakout
sessions, and then group sharing of creative work, new connections and next
steps. Lunch will be served to all attendees.
IdeaLab
will be hosted at Youth on Record in partnership with Art From Ashes and Art
Street. Featured panelists and workshop presenters include poet Franklin
Cruz, artist Mace Windu, and b-boy Kid Cruz.
YOUTH NOMINATION (ages 14-20):
- IdeaLab will be free to participants, and limited to youth as attendees
for the panels and breakout workshops. We are reaching out to you to
nominate youth you think would be a good fit or benefit from
