Job Title: Help Desk Intern

Brief Description: Goodwill’s Help Desk assists in-house computer and tech issues for the entire company. The intern will field call-in and walk-in questions and concerns regarding any and all IT problems that arise within Goodwill Industries of Denver. This position will provide a lot of variety and tackle many computer based issues.

The intern will also go through “soft skill” training (which includes customer services, communication, workplace etiquette, etc.) and digital skills training (which includes Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office).

Skills that will be utilized (not required upon hire but will learn during internship):
·         Develop and grow customer service skills
·         Multi-tasking
·         Dealing with interruptions
·         Utilizing different applications
·         Utilizing Microsoft Office and Google Drive applications
·         Hard drive replacement
·         Troubleshooting
·         Creative problem solving
·         Commination with people at all levels in the organization
·         Variety in position

Requirements:
·         18 and older
·         Ability to take direction
·         Ready to learn and grow skills
·         Ability to learn new things in a hands on environment
·         Self motivated
·         Ability to ask questions when needed
·         An interest in the computer/tech field
