ACC will be hosting a Healthcare Career Day, featuring all the allied health and direct patient care programs we offer here, on Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. This is designed as a full career pathway event, from prospective students through graduation and employment. We expect to have over 25 top-rated healthcare employers for a job fair, several university transfer options, and a series of breakout sessions.  Break-out sessions will discuss careers in direct patient care, such as: RN, CNA, MA, EMT, and PTA; careers in allied healthcare careers, such as: MLT, Pharmacy Technician, phlebotomy, health information technology, exercise health sciences, and medical office technology; job search strategies, from resume creation through interviewing; financing education, including financial aid, scholarships, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA); and, community college-university dual enrollment programs.
