Ready For Retail! Youth Retail Certification Program – October 2015

Get Ready for Retail!
Learn some practical skills that will help improve your chances for future job opportunities! Ready for Retail is a youth training program where you’ll have fun while gaining hands-on experience in an active thrift store.

Topics covered include:
• Successful customer service
• Money-handling like a pro
• Cash register accuracy
• Merchandise displays that make money
• Workplace safety and loss prevention
• Confidence in communication
• Job search skill basics and support

Schedule
October 12 - 15, 2015
(Monday - Thursday)
10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Ready for Retail is a 20-hour program that meets daily at Safari Thrift Store. All retail training materials, daily lunch, certificates, and $15 in Safari Bucks are included for program graduates.

Location
All sessions are held in the training space at Safari Thrift Store, at 738 Peoria St, Aurora, CO 80011. The store is located in the Hoffman Heights Shopping Center, and is easily accessible using the following bus lines: 153, 130/H, 10.
