Lead Banquet Steward (Denver Museum of Nature and Science)

 

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is searching for a Lead Banquet Steward. The Lead Banquet Steward will be responsible for the setup, tear down and execution of all catered events at the Museum. This includes using equipment such as tables, Chairs, Hotboxes, Stages, Dance Floors. The Lead Banquet Steward also is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the Museum's kitchen wares, floors, and dining surfaces as well as the routine maintenance of the food services equipment.

The Lead Banquet Steward will supervise a team of 5-10 on call banquet stewards. Successful applicants will have at least 1 year of supervisory experience and at least 1 year of previous banquet steward experience. This position will have a varied schedule of days, nights and weekends.

Candidate must be able to work shifts of up to 12 hours and be able to stand for up to 4 hours at a time. Candidates must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Pre-employment background check and drug screening are required for this position. This is a three-quarter time, benefitted position.
