Preparation & Production Cook

Part time position, Monday to Friday, 25 to 35 hours per week

Our company is currently seeking a qualified cook with food preparation and production experience.
We provide a school lunch program for various schools and are located in the Lakewood area.

Position Requirements:
•Minimum 1 year of previous experience in high volume food production environment preferred or Culinary Degree specialized in Culinary Arts or Technical / Vocational School experience in restaurant production
•Ability to work in a high production and fast paced environment.
•Must be detail oriented and produce accurate food counts for delivery to clients.
•Excellent knife handling skills and ability to follow company policy for is required.
•Applicant must have reliable transportation.

General Requirements:
•High School Diploma or equivalent required.
•Must have knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment
•Must be able to work Monday to Friday, Early morning to mid- afternoon
•Must present a well-groomed appearance

Physical Requirements:
•Stand in one spot for a long period of time, bend stoop, and kneel regularly
•Full range of upper body motion
•Lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
•Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures
•Repetitive motion of hands and wrists
•Able to stand, lift and move 40 pounds, and work in areas for long periods of time.
