Event Assistant - Noah's - Westminster

Job Description: NOAH'S is a new wedding and event venue located in Westminster, CO as well as multiple other locations around the country. NOAH'S Event Venue hosts events ranging from weddings to social events to corporate meetings. We are looking to hire a full-time Event Assistant at our Westminster location to assist in booking and planning events. This position would be approximately 30-40 hours per week, including weekends and occasional evenings. Pay is $11.50 per hour. The person hired will be responsible for:

• Giving tours to potential customers interested in hosting events for business, family, or weddings
• Answering phone calls and emails regarding future or potential bookings
• Following up and booking all potentials customers, especially businesses, to create repeat business and corporate accounts
• Helping to guide customers in all aspects of their events such as room layouts, timelines, decorations, and vendor recommendations
• Helping guests with set-up needs and audiovisual during their event
• Setting up tables, chairs and décor
• Assisting in keeping the building looking new

Qualifications: The ideal candidate has strong customer service, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. They also are well organized and able to handle high levels of stress. This person is willing and available to work on weeknights and weekends in addition to weekday hours.
