Scholarships from Delta Sigma Theta - April 1st Deadline

DAC & DDI Awards:
Each year the Denver Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in cooperation with Denver Delta Inc., a 501(c)(3), awards scholarships to deserving young women. Award amounts vary from $4,000 (awarded $1,000 per year over 4 years) to one-time $500 book scholarships. Awards are determined by academic scholarship, community service, need, and a personal interview.

ELIGIBILITY:
  • Be an African-American female
  • Be a graduating senior, class of 2015, from a Denver Metropolitan area high school
  • Have a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted gpa).


DAC & CTU Awards:
The Denver Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in collaboration with Colorado Technical University (Westminster, CO campus) is honored to offer a college scholarship to deserving students. This scholarship program was created to provide financial assistance to high school seniors/adults (male or female) who reside in the Denver Metro area. Graduating high school seniors and adults wishing to obtain a four year college undergraduate degree are encouraged to apply. This scholarship may only be used for CTU’s online or campus programs. This scholarship will cover half the cost of the recipient’s tuition.

ELIGIBILITY:
  • Be a high school graduate or have a GED certificate
  • Have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Be an active member in the community
