Job Title: Golf Shop Attendant-Outside Services
Department: Pro Shop-Golf
Reports To: Pro Shop Supervisor
Schedule: Flexible work schedule required (includes weekends and holidays)
Salary: In accordance of the position
FLSA Status: Seasonal

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Golf Club at Heather Ridge Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for:
• Greeting patrons, 
• Preparing rental carts for arriving guests 
o Clean with scorecards, pencils, tees, sand bottles, etc.
o Check battery power, steering, brakes, cleanliness
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the Bag Room,
• Maintain the driving range 
o Pick the range
o Wash range balls
• Assistance with league and tournament play,
• Account for all golf cart (mechanical and push cart) inventory, 
• Performing general custodial and minor maintenance in and around the club house and cart storage sheds,
• Provide answers and assistance to patrons by directing comments to the appropriate personnel,
• May be responsible for opening and closing the golf cart storage and bag room,
• Promote The Golf Club at Heather Ridge in a positive manner, and
• Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to tasks which support the total operations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to maintain a clean, well groomed appearance,
• Ability to communicate in a courteous manner and to work effectively with other employees, supervisors, and the public,
• Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and professional demeanor, 
• Respond to public inquiries and complaints in an effective manner,
• Must be at least 16 years of age,
• Must possess a valid driver's license,
• A critical element to this role will be the ability to clearly communicate and explain the game of golf, and
• This position requires the individual to have a flexible work schedule to include weekends and holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Golf Club at Heather Ridge Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for:
• Greeting patrons of the golf course and club house in a courteous manner, 
• Assisting guests by receiving fees, providing rental carts, selling merchandise and completing daily logs as necessary,
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the Pro Shop,
• Attendant may be responsible for accepting and managing tee times,
• Perform general custodial and minor maintenance in and around the club house, 
• Providing answers and assistance to patrons by directing comments to the appropriate personnel, 
• May be responsible for opening and closing the club house operation,
• Promote The Golf Club at Heather Ridge in a positive manner, and
• Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to tasks which support the total operation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to maintain a clean, well groomed appearance,
• Ability to communicate in a courteous manner and to work effectively with other employees, supervisors, and the public,
• Ability to make every customer feel more welcome at our course than anywhere else,
• Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and professional demeanor, 
• Respond to public inquiries and complaints in an effective manner,
• Must be at least 18 years of age,
• Possess minimum of high school diploma or G.E.D.,
• Must possess a valid driver's license,
• Must be proficient with computer skills,
• A critical element to this role will be the ability to clearly communicate and explain the game of golf, and
• This position requires the individual to have a flexible work schedule to include some weekends and holidays.
