Member Services Representative I (Gate Attendant)
Part Time
Location:  Brighton Crossing
Hours/Day Schedule: hours vary
Pay Range:  $8.00 per hour
General Functions: The Member Services Representative, working as part of the Membership Service Team, will deliver professional customer service, relationship building and sales skills to create a welcoming environment at the YMCA.  Provide in-depth information in regards to the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver, such as memberships, programs, activities, special events, etc.  Assist with the attraction and retention of members; including the collection and processing of monetary transactions and information for members, participants and guests.
Gate attendant for Brighton Crossing will be required to allow or refuse access to the facility depending on residency standing or other restrictions as stated by HOA management company and HOA Board of Directors. Gate attendant may also be required to assist Aquatic Safety and Risk Management staff in non-safety related duties including but not limited to cleaning, facility maintenance, patron engagement and special events. Gate attendant will be a participating staff member in the Emergency Action Plan for the Brighton Crossing facility.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- 15+ Years of age required.
- Must possess or be able to complete CPR, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen Administration certifications within 30 days of hire.
- Shifts available: Day time, evenings, weekends (preferred).
