CASHIER/SALES ASSOCIATE

We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused individual who has excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task and is committed to service excellence and customer satisfaction

As a part time Ace Cashier/Sales Associate you'll play a key role in providing legendary customer service to our customers and building customer loyalty. You'll be responsible for operating our cash registers with accuracy and efficiency while ensuring the checkout experience is fast and friendly. This includes, but is not limited to, suggesting appropriate additional products, handling merchandise returns and exchanges quickly and efficiently, calling customers when their rain checks and special orders are in stock and counting a cash drawer before and after each shift.

You may also be responsible for providing helpful solutions to customers' home improvement needs. This includes maintaining stock, driving sales, building sales skills and product knowledge, and maintaining store safety, security and integrity. Our structured training program ensures new employees become proficient at performing all store services such as mixing paint, screening, cutting glass and keys.

Qualifications
* Candidates with previous cashiering expertise or experience in the trades receive first consideration
* Helpful customer service skills
* Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business and customer.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
* Previous retail experience is a plus
