Denver Rescue Mission Internship

The Denver Rescue Mission Internship Program has two tracks; the Academic Internship and the Career Development Internship: Academic Internship This internship is for college students who are exploring career fields and/or whose degree requires an internship. The Denver Rescue Mission has over 15 different internship placement options. We have 6 placement sites; 4 in Denver and 2 in the Fort Collins area. These internships range from family and human services to refugee services to public relations. This internship follows the academic calendar with Fall (September-December), Spring (January-May), and Summer (June-August) semesters. Interns can choose to stay longer with supervisor approval. Part-time internships require a minimum of 15 hours per week. Full-time interns (40 hours per week) qualify for a $250 monthly remuneration paid directly to an education or loan institution, as well as a $150 monthly stipend. In addition, full-time interns have an opportunity to live at one of our facilities and receive free room and board. Career Development Internship The Denver Rescue Mission offers a 1 year internship to advance your career potential. We have over 15 different placement options in both Denver and the Fort Collins Area. These placements offer skills in diverse career fields such as Public Relations, Case Management, Client Services, Youth Ministry, International Outreach, IT, Medical Clinic Administration, Chaplaincy, Volunteer Relations, and more. In addition, the Denver Rescue mission offers our full time interns free room and board, a $150/month stipend, and $250/month tuition remuneration.
