FT/PT Food Line Cook Denver and Lowry Area (Denver/Lowry)

  

Seeking FT/PT employees both downtown and in Lowry area:

An eating disorder center is looking for FT/PT line cooks interested in working with specialized diets in an active but organized kitchen.

Line Cook Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Opening and/or closing of kitchen
- Preparing and serving up to six meals and snacks per day
- Working weekends and holidays as necessary
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen through adherence to daily cleaning schedules
- Coordinating with other cooks to help with caterings when necessary
- Ensuring high quality of food and accuracy of tray service

Qualified candidates should have:
- At least 1 year food service experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of HACCP procedures
- Ability to follow recipes closely and deliver a consistent product
- Professional attitude, and appearance
- Strong customer service skills and proactive approach to problem solving
- Great organizational and communication skills
- Punctuality and reliability are paramount to this position
- Active knowledge of specialized diets and nutrition programs
- Strong time management skills
