Sometimes, a foot in the door is all you need. And that is exactly what Janus Henderson’s Trainee Program provides.

The Trainee Program is designed to create more opportunities in the investment management industry for young people from different backgrounds. Rather than assessing academic qualifications, candidates are recruited based on their drive to succeed and desire to learn.

The year-long program is open to high school leavers, recent college graduates and those looking for a career change. For Trainees who excel, the program can lead to a permanent role within Janus Henderson Investors.

What You’ll Do

Work side-by-side with Janus Henderson’s brightest professionals as you learn about our products, clients and processes. Hands-on experience will be provided as will exposure to multiple teams and departments. Trainees will also have access to Learning & Talent Development courses, with a specific curriculum in place to support the program.

When We Need You

The Trainee Program runs for 12 months, beginning in September. Trainees work 40hrs/week, Monday through Friday, and are eligible for all company holidays.

This part time (Sat, Sun, & Mon) position works out of our North Boulder commissary. 25% of the time, you will prepare a variety of ingredients, and about 75% of the time will be spent on the assembly of salads, sandwiches and breakfast items. Other responsibilities include:

-Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organized work space
-Working productively as part of a team
-Consistently assembling high quality products
-Packing orders

Job Requirements:
- Must be OK standing for long periods of time
- Must have high attention to detail, focus on quality over quantity
- Must be OK with repetitive tasks
- Must be OK with fluctuating production requirements
- Kitchen experience not required but highly recommended

Each employee will receive a coffee drink, soup and a food item during each shift, as well as discounts on additional items! All staff are eligible for vision and dental benefits after 60 days of employment.

The right candidate will be self-motivated but able to work productively with a small team, fast-paced, have a high attention to detail, and able to stand for 8 hours at a time.
