Be a Summer Playologist at the Children’s Museum

Join our team as a Summer Teen Playologist and have fun while building your resume or college application! Volunteers facilitate play, engage with guests, answer questions about the Museum and keep exhibit spaces organized and inviting. Playologists also play an important role in enforcing the safety and security guidelines of exhibit features and support our staff in the lobby, Gift Shop and Café.


Available Shifts
• Weekdays: 9 am - 1 pm & 12:30 - 4:30 pm

Soccer Coaches - Skyline Soccer - Denver

Skyline Soccer Association is looking for energetic Club Coaches to assist during the spring season of our Grasshoppers & Munchkins soccer program. One of the oldest soccer clubs in Denver, we serve roughly 3,000 players each season. Our Grasshoppers and Munchkins program is specifically designed to teach 2.5 -- 5 yr. old players the very basics of soccer while playing games, making friends, and having fun!

Club Coach Responsibilities Include:
• Field set up
• Facilitate group warm-up
• As needed, coach a team of 8-12 players, ages 2.5 -- 3 or 4 -- 5 years old
• Assist volunteer parent coaches with team activities as requested
• Tear down fields and equipment at the end of each session

Position Requirements:
• Must be comfortable working with children ages 2.5 - 5 yrs. old in a team atmosphere. Extensive soccer knowledge is not required- we're looking for energetic people who understand how to relate to and engage children of this age. 
• Must be comfortable leading a group through soccer related activities for 45 - 60 minutes on your own (coaching plans are provided, but not extensive training)
• Must be punctual, reliable, and bring a smile to the field each week!
• Must be able to pass a national background check
• Must be legally approved to work in the United States
• MUST have reliable transportation

The beginning pay for this position is $14/hr.

The spring season will run from April 3rd through May 13th. In the event we need to cancel a session or two due to poor weather, then the season will be extended up to two weeks. Sessions are held on Saturday mornings (8am - 11:30/1pm), Monday evenings (4:30 - 6:30pm), Tuesday evenings (4:30 - 6:30pm), Wednesday evenings (4:30 - 6:30pm), and Thursday evenings (4:30 - 6:30pm) at a variety of parks around the Denver-metro area. Please view our program locations here.

Adventure Guides - Kids' Nite Out - Wheat Ridge, Erie & Frederick

Kids' Nite Out Across America is a youth activity program for kids ages 7-14. We operate every Friday or Saturday night from 7:00-10:30 PM. As an Adventure Guide, you are responsible for engaging with youth participants and providing oversight and appropriate monitoring of various activities throughout the program. You should have a high level of energy and willingness to participate with youth in appropriate activities throughout the program.

Typical responsibilities of an Adventure Guide include:
*Ensure the safety and positive conduct of the youth in various designated areas of the recreation facility;
*Monitor various areas to ensure the safety of all youth participants; and
*Other duties as assigned throughout the evening to ensure the smooth operation of each program

The Southwest Family YMCA ECE Center is a small child care center located at Sheridan Blvd and Hampden Ave in Denver. We currently care for about 36 children daily.
