    Hockey Scorekeeper - South Suburban Parks and Rec - Centennial

    Scorekeepers are off-ice game officials who keep score and other statistics, manage the game clock, and enforce roster rules. Must be able to work at both Family Sports Center and South Suburban Ice Arena.

    Looking for a candidate who is available regularly throughout the year, September is the only slow month. Sunday availability is required most weekends when we host 20 games on 4 different rinks at 2 different facilities. Sundays you would be taking either a 3 to 6 hr shift during the afternoon (beginning as early as 3pm) or an evening/nighttime 3 to 6 hr shift ending as late as 11:30 pm. You will enjoy having no games on any days on all the 3 day Holiday weekends, Labor Day, Presidents, Memorial Day, 4th of July or Super Bowl Sunday, Easter, Thanksgiving weekend and 2 weeks with no games during Christmas and New Years! Weeknights there are only 1 or 2 games and they could begin as early as 7:30 pm in the Summer or in the Winter they could begin as late as 10:30pm."

    Send Students to Our Annual Open House
    Starting this year, FRCC-Westminster will only be offering one Open House event a year. Our 2019 Open House is coming up on Thursday, March 14th from 3:30-6pm. Posters and postcards will be sent to many of your schools to promote this event. If you would like to request marketing materials specifically sent to your school, please let us know.     More Pathway Day events are just around the corner! On Friday, February 22nd, we will feature the Manufacturing, Automotive, Construction & Design Technology Career and Academic Community (CAC). This CAC includes Automotive Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting & Design, and Machining & Optics Technology. Then on Friday, March 1st, we will highlight the Business & Information Technology CAC. This CAC includes programs such as Accounting, Business & Logistics, Computer Information Systems, and Computer Networking, Virtualization & Cybersecurity. As a reminder, Pathway Day attendees get to hear from faculty members about their classes, tour their classroom spaces, and attend a resource fair to learn more about our student support services.     Reminder: Apply for FRCC Scholarships!
    FRCC’s annual Foundation Scholarship application deadline is coming up soon on March 1st, 2019. Last year we awarded over $700,000 to students through this scholarship. Please encourage your students to apply for this scholarship by the deadline on our website at www.frontrange.edu/scholarships. Students will need to write a short essay responding to the prompt and complete the application. New this year: students will not need to complete the FAFSA to be eligible for the scholarship, nor are letters of recommendation required for most applications. Students only need a minimum 2.0 GPA to apply.
