Part Time
Location:  Schlessman YMCA
Hours/Day Schedule: Hours vary, Monday-Sunday- hiring for evenings and weekends at this time.
Pay Range:  $8 per hour
General Functions: Responsible for assisting in planning, developing, and implementing all curriculum and program activities in the child watch program. The attendant guides the development of children, ensuring a safe, enriching and healthy environment. The child watch attendant, working as part of the child watch team, will deliver professional customer service and relationship building skills to create a welcoming environment at the YMCA.
Requirements:

1. Minimum Age: 16
2. Must possess and demonstrate the ability to engage in all activities associated with the daily care, activities, and routines of the children in child watch including but not limited to: interacting with children at floor level, physical education activities such as running, jumping, lifting children
3. Must possess oral, auditory and written communication skills appropriate for interacting with both children and adults.
4. Must have a minimum of 3 months experience working with young children (babysitting, church Sunday school, etc)
5. Must have current CPR and First Aid certifications
