Denver Parks and Recreation is offering FREE American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification!

Requirements to participate in lifeguard training certification include:
- Must be 15 years old by the end of the class
- Able to swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl and/or breaststroke while demonstrating breath control
- Able to tread water for two minutes, using only legs
- Other swimming, surface diving and object retrieval tests
