High School Opportunities this Fall
The Greenway Leadership Corps (GLC) has FREE opportunities for Denver high schoolers to get outside and try somemthing new. As always, these events are free, no previous experience is necessary, and any high school student can sign up! Saturday, September 28
Help clean up our South Platte River with an in-stream trash pick-up! We'll wade through the River in waders, cleaning up trash that's been sitting in the River. Afterwards, try kayaking down the rapids at Confluence Park with cityWILD! All gear and food for lunch will be provided, and you will get service hours for this event.
Saturday, November 16
Spend the day at the Environmental Learning Center (ELC), the environmental education center at CSU. We'll meet CSU students who work at ELC, get a tour of the space, do a small service project, and get to know each other through fun team building challenges.
