Wanted: College students (19 to apply) or older to come and work at our ranch resort for the 2017 summer season. The season runs early May through the end of August. Tumbling River Ranch is a premier dude ranch resort hiring for all positions including: cooks, baker, wait staff, housekeepers, children counselors, nannies, wranglers, fly-fishing guides, ranch hands, drivers, dish washers and office staff. Most positions do not require experience, but we are looking for staff that are high energy, fun, hardworking, love to serve people, and that have a positive attitude and outlook. 
This is a full summer commitment in which you will do whatever is needed to make our guests vacation incredible. 

Our staff are heavily involved with guest activities which includes evening programs. If hired, you must be available from mid-May through late August with one day off each week. Typical hours run 8-10 hours a day, 50 hours a week. Staff start off with CO state minimum wage ($9.30 an hour) and have the opportunity to quickly receive raises up to $12.00 an hour. Tumbling River provides room/board and staff will have free access to all perks of a dude ranch in your off hours. This is a great environment and the perfect summer job for the right individual.

Location: Tumbling River Ranch is located in central CO at 9200 feet in the heart of the CO Rockies. Our location gives staff a wonderful mountain experience yet we are only an hour from Denver, Boulder and other popular CO sites.

Qualifications:
While there are some 'technical' activities at the ranch (cooking, baking, wrangler and kids counseling) that may demand 'hard skills', we look at personalities traits first, including people who are:
• -19 years of age, or older
• -good at building one on one relationships with guests
• -positive attitude at all time
• -love kids, people and service
• -hard workers/able to work long, sometimes varied hours
• -problem solvers
• -enjoying working on a team and jumping to help the collective team
• -flexible/able to adapt activities to the needs of guests
