Water Sports Club Lake Attendant - La Salle

Enjoy spending your summer days at the lake? Come join our team at Haven Sporting Club. We operate a private club on Milton Reservoir (in LaSalle, CO) where our members can bring their families and guests to enjoy beautiful summer days water skiing, sun bathing on the beach, and talking around a camp fire at night. Our club is a community of families who watch out for each other and create family memories together.

Our lake attendants ensure that our members and having a safe and enjoyable time on our property. As a customer facing team members, it is critically important they embody the values of our club. We are looking for polite, professional, and customer focused individuals to join our team. 

Lake Attendant Duties Include:

Welcoming new members and showing them around the lake. 
Help our members to ensure they have the right paperwork filed and permits visible.
Educating members and their guests our rules, and ensuring everyone is within policy.
Registering new guests on their arrival. 
Helping with trail and site improvements as needed.
Selling items and keeping inventory in our convenience store.
Helping with lake or member events.
Getting to know our members by name so they feel welcome and valued every time they come.
Reporting any unsafe activities to management.
Respond and report any emergencies. 
Ensuring all boats entering or exiting the property has been inspected for Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS). 


Requirements to Apply:

Must be 16 years or older with reliable transportation.
Must be reliable and professional.
Must be able to schedule shift work at least two weeks ahead of time.
Must attend and pass a two day ANS Certification Course to become at CPW Certified State Inspector.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to spend 8 hours outside.
Must be available for shift work Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays.

Available Shifts:
Friday: 3pm-8pm
Saturday: 7am-8pm
Sunday: 7am-8pm
Optional: Monday - Friday shifts

There will be morning, afternoon, and full day shifts available starting April 1st - September 9th. Compensation is $10-$15/hour depending on experience.

FREE 2 Day ANS Certification Course:
3/10 - 3/11 (Sat and Sun)
3/14 - 3/15 (Weds and Thurs)
3/17 - 3/18 (Sat and Sun)

Aurora Gives Scholarship

As a reminder, students eligible for the Aurora Gives Scholarship must:

1.                Have prior enrollment with your organization and meet completion requirements set by your organization/program.

2.                Receive high school diploma, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 upon graduation from high school, and be a student in good standing by your organization’s standards.

3.                Complete a minimum of 10 hours of volunteer community service during the last twelve months (may be school or community related activities, clubs, etc.).

4.                Be willing to be enrolled in consistent semesters, and forego student loans while enrolled at CCA.
