To assist our guest efficiently, courteously and professionally in all front office related functions and to maintain the highest standards of guest service and hospitality at all times.
Will require good communication and typing and computer skills. Will need to be organized, flexible and outgoing. Must be able to handle multiple tasking.
Register guests and assign rooms, accommodate special request, assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations.
Thorough knowledge of room rates, packages and discounts.
Thorough knowledge of credit card and check cashing policies.
Thorough knowledge of rate availability, room location, types of rooms and room operations.
Notify Housekeeping of late check outs, early check ins, special request and day rooms
Working knowledge of reservations and cancellation procedures
Thorough knowledge of posting, cash handling, direct bill &Safety Deposit Procedures
Thorough knowledge of mail, package and message handling procedures
Responsible for balancing work before leaving each day.
Must handle guests check outs and check ins professionally and efficiently.
Identify Guest by using Mr. Ms. Miss or Mrs.
Keep up-to-date all current information regarding your department, as well as other departments.
Attend all Department and General Meetings.
Know all emergency and safety procedures for the hotel
Never give out any guest or associate information.
Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area, as well as, the whole hotel
