The Rocky Mountain Conservancy – Conservation Corps is an
internship program managed by Rocky Mountain Conservancy, the official
non-profit partner of Rocky Mountain National Park. Every year the Conservation
Corps program provides youth, ages 18-25, with an eleven week internship
working alongside the USDA Forest Service, National Park Service, and Rocky
Mountain Conservancy on natural resource management projects in Northern
Colorado. Over the course of the program, interns are afforded the opportunity
to enroll in field courses, gain on-the-job experience in natural resource
management, and network with land management agencies. In an effort to create
the next generation of stewards, Rocky Mountain Conservancy works with the
Conservation Corps interns to maximize their future potential for a career in
the natural resource field.
The program provides all interns with a biweekly stipend,
housing, work clothing, and outdoor gear for the duration of the internship.
