Industries Internship Programs that are critical to Colorado’s economic future
including: Advanced Manufacturing, Aerospace, Bioscience, Construction,
Electronics, Engineering and Energy and Natural Resources, and Information
Technology.

The
Ready to Work Academy program can become a life-changing experience for
students. It happens at a pivotal time, allowing students to gain work
experience and career exploration, enhancing their choices for the future.
Infrastructure = services and facilities necessary for an economy to
function
Technicians =specialist trained in the skills and techniques related
to the field they serve and solve technical problems
The
program takes place in a comprehensive classroom using a practical learning
environment and lab with real equipment completed in an 80-hour intensive
course.
Major
Course Goals: (80 clock hours of training)
1. Earn an OSHA 10 General
Industry card
2. Understand and properly use
the tools needed in the infrastructure technician industry
3. Earn an EPA Section 608 card
4. Gain the ability to work
safely and profitably on equipment during their paid internship
5. Earn the knowledge of hard
and soft skills necessary to secure an entry-level position in the
Infrastructure Technician field
