Job Title: Maintenance Intern

Brief Description: Goodwill’s maintenance team provides all maintenance assistance to Goodwill stores, both Goodwill warehouses, and headquarters. The intern will shadow several maintenance employees as they perform a variety of tasks, which include, but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, hardware, HVAC, carpentry and general maintenance. The intern can expect a workweek with a lot of variety and hands on learning.

The intern will also go through “soft skill” training (which includes customer services, communication, workplace etiquette, etc.) and digital skills training (which includes Google Suite comprehensive skills training).

Requirements:

·         18 and older

·         Ability to take direction

·         Ready to learn and grow skills

·         Ability to learn new things in a hands on environment

·         Self motivated

·         Ability to ask questions when needed

·         An interest in the general maintenance field
