Child Watch Attendant
Part Time-
Location: Littleton YMCA
Hours/Day Schedule: Day shifts Monday-Saturday 8am-1pm, Monday-Thursday 4pm-8pm. Flexible schedule.
Pay Range: $8.00 per hour
General Functions: Responsible for assisting in planning, developing, and implementing all curriculum and program activities in the child watch program. The attendant guides the development of children, ensuring a safe, enriching and healthy environment. The child watch attendant, working as part of the child watch team, will deliver professional customer service and relationship building skills to create a welcoming environment at the YMCA.
Requirements:
- Minimum Age: 16
- Must possess and demonstrate the ability to engage in all activities associated with the daily care, activities, and routines of the children in child watch including but not limited to: interacting with children at floor level, physical education activities such as running, jumping, lifting children
- Must possess oral, auditory and written communication skills appropriate for interacting with both children and adults.
- Must have a minimum of 3 months experience working with young children (babysitting, church Sunday school, etc)
- Must have current CPR and First Aid certifications
