PT Assistant Teacher - YMCA - Sheridan - Apply by 12/15

The Southwest Family YMCA ECE Center is a small child care center located at Sheridan Blvd and Hampden Ave in Denver. We currently care for about 36 children daily. We have 2 classrooms and care for children 2.5 to 5 years of age. We use a creative curriculum, which is a child initiated, play-based curriculum. The Southwest YMCA is part of the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver, one of the largest child care providers in the state of Colorado.
We are seeking QUALIFIED, FUN, ENERGETIC, EDUCATED and CREATIVE individuals to join our team of Early Childhood Professionals. We are accepting applications for part time Assistant Early Childhood Teachers. We are part of the Denver Preschool Program (DPP) and the Colorado Preschool Program (CPP). Our preschool department cares for children 2.5 years of age to 5 years of age.

Qualifications
For ASSISTANT Teachers are follows:
Must have experience working with children, I.E. Baby sitting, church nursery etc.
Working toward Lead Teacher Certification is a plus.

Hours:
Our center is open from 7:00am to 5:30pm. Hours will vary per position, and are based upon the needs of the center. Part time staff work up to 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Position could start immediately after interview and background check.

Pay:
$8.00 to $8.50 per hour
