Western Hill Health Care Center needs Dietary Aides and Prep Cooks (Lakewood)

Western Hills Health Care Center is seeking energetic part time and full time Dietary Aides and Prep Cooks to assist our residents, and provide them with the best care possible. We offer fine dining to our residents, with diverse menu options and a full dining staff to assist with order taking and serving.

This is an excellent entry into the healthcare field, or continuation of previous healthcare training!! This would also make a great second job for someone with weekend availability!!

All dietary aides will work in the dining room, on dishes, and help with prep in the kitchen. All prep cooks assist in the kitchen and on the dish station. We cross train in all positions.

We are looking for a strong health care professional who will enjoy being part of a diverse team.

Position Requirements:

 Knowledge and experience with medically prescribed diets strongly preferred
 Experience in a health care setting strongly preferred
 Strong work history and good references required
 Must be able to read and follow directions in English
 Dedicated to being a good caregiver and comfortable working with an elderly population
 Excellent communication skills
 Strong willingness to work
 Great team player
 Professional appearance and behavior
 Must practice dependable, regular attendance
