Student
Election Judges help make elections happen. Working an election is a great
hands-on way to learn about democracy, make some extra cash, and gain a unique
experience for your college application. Students are trained by the Denver
Elections Division and work alongside Election Judges at the Denver Elections
Division’s main office downtown.
Who:
High School Students 16 years of age or
older.
What:
Assist Denver Elections (City and County
of Denver) by working with us on Election Day.
When:
Training will be held on Saturday, May 2nd
from 10 am to Noon. The assignment is on Tuesday, May 5th (Election
Day), from 7 am to 7 pm.
Where:
200 West 14th Ave., Denver, CO,
Suite 100 (corner of 14th Ave. and Bannock St., downtown).
How:
Students will assist in ballot processing
rooms, assist voters, and help with other departmental duties as needed.
Payment:
Students will be paid $12 per hour for
their assignment and training time.
