Leadership & Conservation
Year-long,
team-based, leadership program providing diverse service opportunities in
community outreach and environmental stewardship. Build technical skills
working on both Energy & Water and Land Conservation projects throughout
the Denver Metro Area. Earn specialized certifications in First Aid/CPR, Leave
No Trace™ outdoor ethics, pesticide application and an option to earn s-212
chainsaw certification.$720 bi-weekly living stipend and $5,730 AmeriCorps Education Award upon
successful completion of program. Ages 19 - 24
Energy
& Water Conservation
Year-long,
team-based program helping low-income clients and community organizations conserve energy and water, and
save money on utilities. Hands-on technical training, leadership development,
civic engagement with diverse clients, and career and college readiness
training. Advancement and leadership opportunities available. $720 bi-weekly
living stipend and up to $4,365.56 AmeriCorps Education Award upon completion
of two 675 hour terms. Ages 18-24
