The Mayor’s Youth Commission provides youth leadership
opportunity to Denver’s youth, advises the Executive Director of the Office of
Children’s Affairs on special problems pertaining to youth (ages 12 to 18)
living in the City and County of Denver and recommends necessary procedures,
programs, legislation or administrative action to promote and ensure equal
rights and opportunity for the youth of the city and identifies yearly goals
and develops action plans around the goals that positively impact Denver youth.
We are looking to fill 7 youth positions vacancies for
the 2015-2016 academic year! To be eligible for consideration the youth
applications must be between the ages of 14 and 18 by June 1, 2015, be
residents of the City and County of Denver and be willing to attend meetings
twice per month during the academic year. For more information and to download
