Slots are filling up fast for our Energy & Water Program. It will
start July 6th and we will continue to hire as long as there are open
slots.
Water and Energy Conservation Corpsmembers participate in an
intensive
program that focuses on building technical skills and career readiness
in a green job industry. Corpsmembers will serve in the Denver community
installing high-efficiency toilets (HETs) and energy and water saving measures,
and in the MHYC classroom focusing on teamwork, community service, life skills,
career and college readiness training, and leadership development.Corpsmembers receive a bi-weekly living stipend of $576 and at completion of the program they will earn an AmeriCorps Education Award of $2,150.
